Maintenance Electrician

You run the planned checks on motors, drives and limit switches, measure insulation and earth loop values and record them in the maintenance log. On a breakdown you isolate the circuit, apply the lock and tag, find the fault with a multimeter and the wiring diagram and restore the line. Cable routes and terminal boxes are inspected after every storm. The shift is 08:00-17:00 with one week of callout duty in four.

Electrician qualification and a valid permit to work on installations

At least two years on industrial motors, drives and switchgear

Able to read a wiring diagram and to use a multimeter and a clamp meter

Familiar with lock out and tag out and with work permits

Willing to join the callout rota one week in four

Lithuanian or English at a working level for permits and handover

Net salary from 1327 up to 1515 EUR per month

Open ended contract with social insurance from the first day

Callout duty paid separately on top of the monthly wage

Paid renewal of the electrical permit and yearly safety training

Hot meal in the terminal canteen on every shift

Arc rated clothing, insulated tools, helmet and safety boots provided

Electricians who add the high voltage permit take over the terminal substation, which carries a higher grade and a standing allowance. The terminal also trains its own automation technicians from the electrical team.

An outdoor terminal with covered conveyor galleries, a heated workshop and a switch room. Work is in wind and rain in winter. A helmet, arc rated clothing, gloves, eye protection and safety boots are mandatory and are supplied.
