Forklift Driver

You unload trailers with a counterbalance truck, pass pallets to the reach truck operator and put stock away in racking up to nine metres. Before the shift you check the forks, the mast chains, the horn and the battery water, and you write the check into the machine log. Through the day you move pallets between the receiving lane, the racking and the dispatch lane, and you report a damaged racking beam at once. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with a weekly rotation.

Valid forklift licence for counterbalance trucks

At least two years driving in a warehouse

Reach truck experience is an advantage, training is provided

Reading a pallet label and a put away list

Careful work near pedestrians in a shared aisle

Willing to rotate two shifts

Basic English for the display and the safety signs

Net salary from 894 up to 1072 EUR per month

Permanent contract after a paid trial month

Hot meal in the canteen on every shift

Afternoon shift supplement paid by the hour

Paid licence renewal and refresher training

Work clothing, gloves and safety shoes provided

Drivers who work a clean year without damage are trained on the reach truck and then on the order picker at height. The senior driver on each shift plans the machine schedule.

A heated hall with marked driving lanes, mirrors at the aisle ends and a separate battery charging room with extraction. Safety shoes, a vest and gloves are supplied, and the seat belt is used at all times.
