About role

You work one station on the line, feed the machine with preforms, take the finished part off the tool and compare it with the boundary sample for flash, short shots and colour. Scrap goes into the marked red bin and the count goes onto the shift sheet. Every two hours you measure a piece with a caliper and record it, and at the changeover you help the setter clear the tool. Three shifts run 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 with a weekly rotation.
