About role

You install conduit and boxes into the frame before the concrete pour, pull cable once the walls are closed and terminate sockets, switches and luminaires to the drawing. In the distribution board you fit the rails, land the circuits and label every way. Before the handover you carry out the insulation resistance and loop impedance measurements, record them in the test report and correct anything the report shows. You take the day's tasks from the site foreman and coordinate your own work with the plumbing and ventilation trades. The working day is 07:00 to 15:30 from Monday to Friday.
